Construction of Libraries

You will deliver us high molecular weight DNA like genomic DNA and we will construct the library according to your wishes in an appropriate vector system and will transform our highly competent cells.

To construct a cDNA library, we will start with cells or purified RNA. Libraries with synthetic oligos are also possible. Before we will send the library to you, our quality control will check the size and the ratio of the inserts. You will also decide how you will receive the library – as pool or picked as individual clones.

Screening of Libraries

You are looking for a specific gene in a library? We will find it. There are different screening procedures possible to reach the goal, for example by screening via the sequence and hybridization or via the activity of an enzyme.
