Crack’n Cycle

Crack’n Cycle is an easy system to perform a PCR screening. By using specific primers for PCR followed by gel electrophoresis to analyze the PCR fragments, the efficiency of a cloning step can be checked. All you need is a tiny part of a bacterial colony. Preparation of plasmids and time consuming digestions are now unnecessary.

The kit contains a reagent for lysis of bacterial cells and a Taq master mix for PCR – you only have to add the specific primers and can set up a PCR screening within a few minutes.
